Forest Bathing in the Alps. Where Nature Heals and Silence Restores

Breathe the forest, restore your soul

There is a place where you can truly take a pause where silence meets the pure, fresh air of the mountains, and you can walk barefoot on soft grass beneath the Dolomites sky.
Here at the Olympic Hotel, where daily life gently fades away, you are invited to slow down, let go, and reconnect deeply with the earth surrounded by the majestic Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage wonder in Trentino, Northern Italy.

Your Forest Bathing Journey in the Alps

Born in Japan as Shinrin-yoku, forest bathing is a mindful immersion in nature a practice that perfectly reflects our #HOLYmPEAK philosophy.
It’s not just a walk through the woods, but a contemplative experience:
feeling the filtered light through the trees, the slow breath of the forest, the healing power of silence.

At the Olympic Hotel, this ritual becomes even more meaningful under the guidance of our Wellness Coach, Irene.
With her calm presence and deep connection to the natural rhythms of the mountains, Irene leads gentle wellbeing activities designed to help you rediscover balance from mindful breathing and grounding exercises in the forest, to stretching sessions inspired by the flow of nature.

This is the essence of our vision of sustainable wellness in the Alps a return to nature that becomes a return to yourself.
A path drawn along the trail, a journey that begins in the mountains but unfolds within.

Where Nature Heals the Soul

At the Olympic Hotel, the forest is not a backdrop it’s a living presence.
A space where time expands and the air feels fuller, purer, more alive.
The mountains don’t just protect, they embrace.

We believe nature speaks its own quiet language: through the sparkle of dew, the scent of larch, the roughness of bark beneath your fingertips.
When you learn to listen, everything else softens and slows.

All you need are comfortable shoes, the desire to slow down and perhaps a soft blanket as the evening breeze carries the fragrance of pine.

Immersed in Nature, Guided by Stillness

Just steps from the hotel, the Santa Giuliana Woods and Soraga Meadows become peaceful sanctuaries for deep connection.
Walk in silence, rest on a mossy trunk, or join Irene for a mindful walk an invitation to breathe deeply, awaken your senses, and let your thoughts settle like snow.

Each session is an encounter with your own rhythm a balance of movement, breath, and awareness that helps you find harmony with the Alpine landscape.

From Nature to Nurture

Your day’s journey can continue back at the Olympic Hotel, where harmony flows through every space in our Ladin-inspired Spa,
in the suspended forest sauna,
and at Ort Restaurant, where the flavours of the Alps become part of your wellness ritual.

From sunrise to sunset, you’ll experience wellbeing as a way of being gentle, authentic, and rooted in nature.

Here, nature restores. Silence renews.
And under Irene’s gentle guidance, you’ll rediscover what it means to simply breathe, listen, and be.
You can book your private forest bathing or mindful session with Irene directly at the reception or before your arrival.
