  • Spent our five nights in the Dolomites at this hotel and as the title says everything was as majestic as the mountain views. I am sure there are a lot of good places to stay in the Dolomites but the Active Olympic must be right up at the peak in all areas. The rooms, the very pleasant and helpful staff, the activities, the proximity to mountain lifts and walks, the food(breakfast, dinner and afternoon snacks), the little extras, the entertainment. Did not use the 'wellness facilities' but they looked very impressive. Did use the pool but would have preferred it to be either non heated or a good bit cooler. Hotel is a comfortable 3 hour car drive from Venice Airport and I would highly recommend for anyone desiring a very pleasant,central hotel for the Dolomites.

    More than I could have imagined

  • This hotel and spa surpassed my expectations in every way. Every tiny detail was thought of and the service was perfect. Food was fine dining and some of the flavours I tried were exquisite. We booked a suite and it was beautiful. We stayed a week so got to enjoy most of the hotels amenities (as well as the whole cocktail menu)
    Turndown service every night was a lovely welcome back to the room, as were the little gifts and notes left for us.

    The spa was perfect, hot like a bath, and then opening to the outside which was stunning. Sitting in the pool with snow falling was a special experience. Couples massage again faultless and relaxing.....just wish I had another.

    If I ski in this region again I would love to come back here. Family run and at its absolute best. Worthy of 5 stars
